Seniors friendly match v Sussex – Tuesday 13th September 2022 – Worthing GC

Having experienced a blistering hot summer it was a bit of a shock to play our last friendly match of the season in showery conditions!!
We received a very warm and friendly welcome by Sussex at Worthing Golf Course. Our match was played on The Lower (Colt) course which was in fantastic condition and we managed to avoid the heavy rain that was forecast.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their matches and I am pleased to report that Hampshire won 2.5 – 1.5.
Our thanks go to Sussex and Worthing Golf Club for their excellent hospitality. The catering team added a lovely decorative touch to our coffee in memory of our late Queen.
Many thanks to my team who played extremely well to end our season on a winning note!! Well done Ladies.
