County Card
For 2023, the County Card Scheme is changing and affiliation fees will include the ability to receive a free County Card. This will be available via the County Card App, as opposed to the old hard card option. Physical cards will still be available for those who do not use devices that support the App.
The App will go live for all members of a club on payment of the Affiliation Fee, normally 2 months after the member's renewal date.
Further details will be made available in early 2023.
Benefits for members:
- Those that paid the £15 subscription for the County Card will no longer need to apply and pay;
- All other members, will now get the benefit of being able to use the County Cards for discounted golf around the country at over 1300 courses;
- The discount varies from club to club generally between 20%-50% off the normal green fee;
- The County Card will be available to all affiliated members of Clubs that offer a discounted County Card rate to others. If a Club does not offer a County Card rate, their members will not be able to make use of the County Card elsewhere.

England Golf South Region Finals - Australian Spoons at Paultons Golf Centre 22 July 2025

Hampshire Ladies Golf were given the responsibility of hosting and running the England Golf Australian Spoons Southern region Finals in 2025.
Pauline Davies, the Competition Secretary took the lead on this , and has been busy for some months collating the entries, dealing with questions and chasing down entry fees from clubs from all over the region.
The Finals were to be held at Paultons Golf Centre near Romsey.
The start of the day was reasonably bright as we hoisted the England Golf and Hampshire Sail flags at the first tee.

Foursomes Meeting at Weybrook Park 17th July

HLG Foursomes Meeting took place on a bright and blustery day at Weybrook Park on Thursday 17th July. We were able to have a two tee start on the West Course.
Some 80 ladies gathered from 1000 am to contend for the trophy.
