In November 2020 the World Handicap System (WHS) came into effect. Players now have a Handicap Index rather than a handicap. The HI is calculated as the average of the best 8 from the last 20 scores (score differentials) in a players' record.
Any queries regarding your HI should, in the first instance, be directed to your club Handicap Secretary / Committee. If they are unable to answer or resolve your query please then refer to Jackie Keay, our England Golf Handicap Advisor, who can be contacted on email j ackie.keay@icloud.com
