Hampshire Second Team v Berkshire

Army GC was looking glorious for our warmup match against the Berkshire Second Team where both captains agreed to adopt the new county match week format with two foursomes games and three singles.
Sarah Tyerman and Stevie Crozier-Hunt were making their second team debuts and joined Dawn Hodge, Samantha Gregory, Izzy Lawson, President Jane Scott and Sarah Deacon in representing Hampshire.
Some excellent play saw Hampshire win all 5 games and give some very difficult selection decisions for the Stovold Trophy matches in the summer. There is such a depth of talent in our county game.
We also have some delightful Hampshire golf courses. Thank you to Army GC for their warm hospitality and for allowing us to play our fixture on a lovely spring day when the course, and ladies’ golf, were shown at their very best.
