Another sparkling morning over the links at Hayling Island Golf Club on Wednesday 20th August for the Finals of the Centenary Foursomes 2025. This course is always a significant test of golf, even in benign weather as it has all the hallmarks of links golf. Blind shots, hard bounces and exposed to any breeze. HLG were very pleased to be welcomed here to hold this Foursomes event.

The entrants had in most cases won their qualifying club competition to advance to the day. It is, much to the relief of most pairs a Stableford. On the day scores were rather mixed.

The winning team were Carol Squibbs and her partner Sara Mitchell from North Hants GC on 39 points.
