Many congratulations to Brokenhurst’s Liz Young, a former County Champion who won the Hero Women’s Indian Open, part of the Ladies European Tour by just 1 shot. A great achievement for Liz and I know many Hampshire golfers will be delighted.
This week saw the last of our county competitions taking place with the re-run of the Autumn Div 1 meeting at Stoneham. So, congratulations to all the prize winners who enjoyed their day at Stoneham. A full report is available below.
A big thank you to all our competitions team including our referees who have all worked so hard throughout the year, so that many of us have been able to enjoy the competitions we have entered.
The various draws for our inter club competitions was recently announced and I know there is currently a lot of diary planning going on to get these fixtures confirmed. Full details of all the draws can be found under the competitions page.
Our winter team competition, The Hayling Trophy teams are certainly very organised and have made a great start to ensuring their fixtures get played. Well done everyone.
The next date for our HLG calendar is our AGM which is taking place on Friday 10 January 2025. Venue to be confirmed.

Our final event of the 2024 Junior season was a fantastic conclusion to a brilliant year for Hampshire. It was a wet one but there was plenty to celebrate including five new faces joining for their first Hampshire Girls competition and of course our meeting winner and recipient of the Dorothy Hayward Salver, Lily Stroud.
